Alex Fiva has a little revenge. Down last weekend in Alleghe – although he was third – after a collision with an opponent, the veteran from Grisons (38 years old) won the 33rd podium of his career on Saturday in Bakuriani (Georgia) and thus returned to 21 points behind Canadian Reece Howden in the overall World Cup standings.

The only representative of the Swiss delegation who made it to the finals, the world champion from 2021 won third place in the race in which the Swede David Mobaerg celebrated, ahead of the German Felix Wilmsmann. Saint-Welsh's Jonas Lehnerr (34 years old) and Bernese Ryan Regez (30 years old) performed in the small final (5th and 8th).

Talina Gantenbein falls in the final

On the women's side, in the absence of Vaudois Fanny Smith with a thumb injury, three Swiss women were present in the quarter-finals among the eleven skiers who competed. Talina Gantenbein (25 years old) was the only one who made it to the finals. Unfortunately, Grisonne fell and could not finish her round. The victory went to Canadian Marielle Thompson.

The Helvetians still managed to get a good group shot as Geneva's Sixtine Cousin (5th) and Saint-Galloise's Saskja Lack (6th) are in the top 6.
